One of the biggest challenges in starting a business is getting your name out there! I make it a goal to find three new areas of marketing the site every day (except, Sundays-- gotta have that day off!)

Here are some ideas to help you get out there on the Web. The key to SUCCESSFUL advertisement is finding what I call "Quality Traffic." There are so many companies that tell you can they can increase traffic to your site for a certain amount of $$$, or buy advertising space on this site or another--again shelling out HUGE amounts of cash.

Who has money to waste? Not me. Not crafters!

You want to make sure you are attracting quality traffic. The kind of traffic that is really looking for what you're offering. It's not about just quantity, but quality. Web sites that offer tons of traffic are doing things that actually will harm a Web site's authenticity. Stay away from those scams.

One great thing about crafting-- is that we know a lot of others who do the same thing. That's why word of mouth is one of the most effective forms of advertisement.
